Even though my pregnancy is already at 28 weeks (7 months), I'm still having food cravings! I had been dreaming of eating a large Banana Split for days. Finally, my sister, Jenny, was nice enough to drive me to Eastwood to have merienda at Swensen's to satisfy my craving.

The ice cream was fresh and creamy and it totally satisfied my pregnancy craving. I remember going to Magnolia House when we were young and it totally brought me back to those days. Maybe next time, I'll visit the newly renovated Magnolia Ice Cream House near Robinson's Magnolia when I dream of Banana Splits again. In the meantime, a nearer, just-as-good, totally family-friendly place is Swensen's in Eastwood.
